Should I redo my current consultant contract under my recently formed LLC?

Not sure if I'm posting this in the right subreddit. Please let me know if I'm in the wrong place.I started a new consulting contract at the beginning of this month that pays much more money than I'm used to making. Some folks recommended I form an LLC (sole proprietor) for everything and invoice to a business account, to help make taxes easier. I ended up contacting a CPA, and they confirmed forming the LLC was a good idea.Great, okay, no problem. I formed the LLC, got the EIN, and opened a business account. I'm ready to fill out my W9 now (haven't done so yet because I was waiting for the State to approve my LLC application). The kicker: I signed the original contract under my legal name, instead of the name of my LLC. The accountant recommended (while making it very clear that they do not offer legal advice) that I try to get the contract redone under the name of my LLC. I don't really understand the reasons why, something about shielding me from personal liability.I contacted my client, and they said redoing the contract under the name of my LLC is no problem. Now they're just waiting for my confirmation to pull the trigger and write everything up again. Is this a good/bad idea? I really have no idea what I'm doing here. Just want to make sure I'm not making a huge mistake before I do this. I live in Washington State, if that matters.(Also, I've read online that if I do this, I should include a line in the contract that has my title. What should my title be? Owner?) see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
