Can a Discord server be a viable MVP to prove product market fit?

Hi everyone,My friend and I came up with the idea back in September to build communities for college students to find internship opportunities and other career resources based on their degree or interests as we noticed it was difficult for people in certain degrees to find opportunities and determine their career path.We decided that in order to save time and money on building a tech solution that it would be easier to create a Discord server that would essentially accomplish what we are trying to validate. So far after launching it within our university it has gotten a decent amount of traction and positive feedback and we actually have a meeting with our university’s career services who managed to find it and is looking to collaborate.I’m wondering that is this MVP really enough to show that we’re building something truly valuable or should we spend the time to begin building a product?Essentially what I’m asking is would anyone invest in a Discord server? see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
