Market is super saturated. what to do next?

I built a video player application for android without much thought of how to market it. I haven't launched it yet because i don't know how to approach the launch as the market is super saturated. I also don't want to leave it because i think if i stick to it i can build a good business around it. So what should i do next should i use google ads to get install or launch it on product hunt. I am genuinely trying to learn here so please give me some tips on how to approach this. Has someone faced a similar situation?I have seen people in apparel and cosmetics business get successful even though the market is super saturated could the same thing happen in android app market?
