Hey everyone! So I’m a 23 year old individual who owns a career consulting company. I don’t know if I should add the name here as this is not a promotion post (I am new to this subreddit).I need some help and feedback on refining my idea.My consultancy is basically a career consulting platform to help students and young professional open doors/increase interview % at the top firms. Services include cv, cover letter and career coaching calls. My growth strategy is basically offer a ton of free resources on LinkedIn and grow rapidly. I have grown from 200 followers to 10k followers (all emails collected too). I believe if I keep this up, I can grow to 50k email list in 6 months.I basically want to start a technology based platform that incorporates something to do with students, young professional, skill development, universities, job seekers and career oriented people. These are a few of my ideas (with potential problems in brackets):edtech platform with video courses teaching different skills and career development content (free courses, YouTube, coursera, data camp)an AI-based matching algorithm career mentoring platform to connect industry mentors to career oriented students (idea exists but they’re all small too, revenue is commission based but can get cut out easily if they move away from platform).a peer to peer skill sharing platform for students to help teach other skills and share knowledge and sellers charge their own rates (again, low incentive to pay, free resources elsewhere, YouTube, coursera)all 3 ideas would have a dashboard with tracking skill development over their professional journey. (Is there a need for this though)Overall, the platform is free to join but the add ons are only achievable through mentoring commission or course fees.I would like to pivot into something more scalable and students OR universities & companies should be paying some sort of subscription fees or licensing fees for the platform.I know of a guy who took a peer to peer conversation between university rep and college applicant and licenses it to colleges for a fee. I would like to pivot into something else.As a student or young professional, what kind of career tool would you have paid for (interview coaching, mentorship, exclude cv or cover letter reviews).I had an idea to perhaps integrate with the careers center of universities to improve their processes and optimize their impact for students. But in what capacity?Sorry for the long message and I know I am asking for a lot of advice so anything would ideally help (feedback, suggestion, change of model, add to model etc.) see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
