I have recently begun working as a web developer, recently I got a gig from a friend to be a personal assistant to a real estate agent. One of the things I did was create a website for them, and word went around and some other real estate agents wanted me to create a website for them as well which I did. But now that I realized I really enjoy it I want to do it full time but I am finding it really hard to find clients outside of my small bubble.I have reached out to 10+ local businesses whose websites are lacking, to say the least, but never heard anything back. I also started using Upwork and have sent out 12 proposals to clients looking for a web developer but didn't receive the job for any of them.I feel in a catch-22 I want to buy more plugins like elementor Pro and Ithemes that I know would make my personal website look a lot nicer, but I don't want to buy them if I am not getting clients.What should I do, I have been in this grey zone for about a month and a half and am still very motivated to do this full time but am at my wit's end with ideas. see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
