What to do now

So I'm 38 a veteran with service connected disabilities. I have a fairly high income job that I hate (shift work). Within the next year I'll have my house paid off and have decided I'm going to quit my job. Having said that I have no idea what I want to actually do. I've done my current job for 10+ years and don't want to work the corporate world anymore. Being a disabled vet I have alot of opportunities available to me but don't know what I what to do. Anyone been in a similar situation? Started over, what was your decision making process for finding something new? see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
