Hi everyone! I’m starting a business selling a sugar substitute that is fairly unknown and I’m very excited about it. Essentially I have to get it from China where it is produced (for the time being) and pack it, brand it and sell it. The rules at local farmers markets are essentially I must “make” what I sell, and I can’t rebrand something and sell it there. Leading me to a question - where can I get my feet wet in an industry like this? I’d prefer not to jump straight to only e-commerce, I’d like to meet my customers first and get as much feedback face to face as possible before dealing with the very kind, and forgiving internet.
