I'm working on a side business (D2C e-commerce) and hope to launch by spring 2022. The plan is to build this up until it makes sense to quit the 9-5 life.Unfortunately, my current work contract is set to end in April, which means that I'm about to start job hunting again soon due to bills and needing to save enough capital to bootstrap this.I'm on the fence between adding my side business to my resume because if I:Add it to my resume, it might make potential employers question my dedication to their company if hired...before they even speak with meLeave it off my resume, I will need to explain a 5 month gap in my resume (between leaving my last company and starting this current job). Also, I've built up a small following on Tiktok and Instagram as the founder of this company, so I could be easily found if someone searched my name within those platforms anyway. If it matters, I do not plan on applying to companies that are even tangentially related to my business. What have you done in this situation? Many thanks in advance. see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
